Mature skin: tips for perfect well-aging care
by Lena Severin
Mature skin is the skin condition that occurs naturally with age. And it's not about fighting this process at all, but rather about supporting the skin. With the right care, however, you can slow it down a little and give our largest organ a little help.
Practice makes perfect! If you start early to support your skin with the right care, to keep it healthy and to protect it, it will thank you for a long time. Mature skin deserves a combination of rich oils and the right active ingredients that specifically take care of building up and maintaining its natural functions.
For radiant, well-hydrated skin, reduced wrinkles and a beautiful complexion.
Mature skin needs targeted care
As you can see in the graphic below, as we age, our skin increasingly lacks collagen, hyaluronic acid and elastin. This causes wrinkles, the skin barrier is weakened and moisture can escape more quickly.
Over time, the body becomes slower at producing these substances itself. This helps you to keep your aging skin fresh: active ingredients in your care that give the skin exactly what it is missing.
Active ingredients & richness: Beauty secret for radiantly beautiful mature skin
Well-Aging Hero: Retinal
Whether in the form of Serum or Cream , Retinal is THE active ingredient for the care of mature skin.
What effect does retinal have? It promotes cell regeneration in the skin and at the same time inhibits collagen degradation. The skin structure can therefore remain more stable, wrinkles are reduced and the overall skin structure becomes firmer.
Full moisture: hyaluronic acid
Hyaluron is perfect for compensating for moisture loss in mature skin and replenishing its moisture reserves.
What effect does hyaluronic acid have? We use low-molecular hyaluronic acid in our hyaluronic creams and concentrate . It consists of particularly small molecules that penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin, where it binds the water. The result? Radiant, plump skin! We all want that, don't we?
Glow boost for the skin: Vitamin C
Vitamin C is not only a wonderful ingredient for younger skin. As you get older, it is worth increasing the concentration a little if your skin is not sensitive. For example, with our 15% Vitamin C ampoules or our V10% Vitamin C Serum Intensive .
What effect does vitamin C have? It smoothes out wrinkles and ensures that the skin becomes more elastic and firm. This concentration can also lighten pigment spots.
Richness with valuable oils & selected creams
However, supple mature skin needs not only moisture and the right mix of active ingredients, but also valuable lipids, i.e. fats. Jojoba oil, almond oil or squalane are suitable for this. If you prefer something creamy, I recommend our effective retinal cream or one of our hyaluronic creams, which already contain one of the oils depending on the desired richness. Great side effect: With the products you not only get the right richness, but also the active ingredients in a practical brown glass bottle!
Alert eyes with the right eye care
Wrinkles and lines around the eyes are often the first signs of aging skin. But shadows can also become more apparent.
Eye care with targeted active ingredients can help here.
Well-Aging: Give your skin what it needs – at any age
Our skin deserves to be supported as best as possible so that it can protect us from external influences for as long as possible, just as it has done since day one.
Mature skin does not mean fighting wrinkles or hiding shame and age spots. Mature skin means life experience, serenity and the wisdom to know, love and care for your own body.
