AHA peeling

Admittedly, the name peeling can be a little misleading at first. Since our AHA peeling is not a so-called mechanical peeling, you don't have to rub it on your skin. You simply apply it in the evening and let your skin "peel" overnight. Or, more accurately, renew itself. To do this, we use a combination of alpha and beta hydroxy acids, or AHA and BHA for short. Alpha hydroxy acids easily bind water and thus give your skin cells back valuable moisture and elasticity. BHA - also better known as salicylic acid - effectively binds sebum and dirt. In addition, both AHA and BHA have an exfoliating effect, which means they accelerate the shedding of dead skin cells.

This gently removes dead skin cells from your skin, giving you a fresh, radiant complexion. The perfect preparation for other valuable active ingredients that will more easily find their way into the deeper layers of your skin after the peeling.

AHA or BHA?
In general, it can be said that the AHA peeling is more suitable for dry, dehydrated, balanced and mature skin, as alpha hydroxy acids ensure good moisture in the skin and contribute to skin regeneration, especially in the case of wrinkles and pigment spots. Our AHA peeling also contains a light concentration of BHA, which makes it a good all-rounder for combination skin and anyone who can't decide.

While the BHA peeling is recommended for oily, impure or sensitive skin. Salicylic acid (BHA) clears clogged pores, regulates sebum production and counteracts inflammation. Due to its anti-inflammatory effect, BHA is also well suited for sensitive skin conditions such as rosacea.

The question here is: What do you want to achieve with your skincare routine? Products rich in active ingredients specifically address your individual skin needs. Most serums can be used daily, while peelings, masks and ampoules are more of a supplement to your routine.


HOW TO USE THE AHA PEELING
Only use the peeling one or two evenings a week so that your skin can regenerate sufficiently afterwards. After cleansing, put a few drops on your fingertips and gently pat them into your dry face or décolleté. Please avoid the eye area and open, injured areas.

Important for you
Our AHA peeling does not need to be removed after application. Simply skip your serum in your routine and apply your moisturizer straight after, e.g. our hyaluronic acid cream medium or hyaluronic acid cream rich .

NOTES

May increase light sensitivity. Please use adequate daily sun protection with at least SPF 30. 

We advise against use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Do not apply intensive active ingredients directly after one another to avoid overwhelming your skin. It is better to apply the products separately and alternately in the evening. This specifically concerns combinations with BHA peeling, enzyme peeling, niacinamide serum, retinal cream, retinal sensitive serum, vitamin C ampoules, and zinc toner.

If you have an allergy or intolerance to salicylic acid or acetylsalicylic acid, you should not use our AHA Peeling.
