BHA peeling

Our BHA peeling is not a mechanical peeling where you use friction to remove old skin cells from your skin. It is a chemical peeling that gently renews your skin. The salicylic acid it contains (BHA stands for beta hydroxy acid) has a calming and anti-inflammatory effect on the skin. It can promote healing, especially in the case of blemishes, and prevent the formation of pimples. Due to its fat-soluble properties, BHA penetrates deep into the pores of the skin and gently frees it of deposits and dirt. Salicylic acid also has an exfoliating effect, which means it accelerates the shedding of dead skin cells. This allows your skin to shine again and regenerate.

AHA or BHA?
In general, it can be said that the AHA peeling is more suitable for dry, dehydrated, balanced and mature skin, as alpha hydroxy acids ensure good moisture in the skin and contribute to skin regeneration, especially in the case of wrinkles and pigment spots. Our AHA peeling also contains a light concentration of BHA, which makes it a good all-rounder for combination skin and anyone who can't decide.

While the BHA peeling is recommended for oily, impure or sensitive skin. Salicylic acid (BHA) clears clogged pores, regulates sebum production and counteracts inflammation. Due to its anti-inflammatory effect, BHA is also well suited for sensitive skin conditions such as rosacea.

Hints
Since this product makes the skin more sensitive to light, we strongly recommend that you use sunscreen during the day.

You should not use more intensive serums and active ingredient ampoules one after the other, but separate the products from each other in time. This specifically applies to the use of niacinamide serum, retinol serum, vitamin C ampoules and zinc facial toner.

We advise against use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

If you have an allergy or intolerance to salicylic acid or acetylsalicylic acid, you should not use our BHA peeling.

The question here is: What do you want to achieve with your skincare routine? Products rich in active ingredients specifically address your individual skin needs. Most serums can be used daily, while peelings, masks and ampoules are more of a supplement to your routine.


HOW TO USE THE BHA PEELING
Only use the peeling one or two evenings a week to see how your skin reacts to the salicylic acid. You can then increase the use to every other evening. The best way to do this is to put a few drops on your fingertips after cleansing and gently pat them into your dry facial skin or décolleté.

Important for you
Our BHA peeling does not need to be removed after application. Simply skip your serum and apply your moisturizer immediately after the BHA peeling, e.g. our retinal cream or hyaluronic acid day cream .
