Retinal cream

Our Retinal Cream with the first 100% natural retinal is the perfect and gentlest introduction to age-well care. Whether you're just starting to notice the first signs of aging or are already in the midst of it, this regenerative cream effectively reduces lines and wrinkles, resulting in noticeably smoother and softer skin texture without unnecessarily straining your skin with active ingredients. Thanks to its medium richness, it absorbs quickly and leaves a pleasantly light protective film.

If you have no experience with active ingredients like retinal, we recommend a gradual introduction.

In our Retinal Cream, we use the first retinal of biotechnological origin. At a concentration of 0.05%, it's the optimal introduction to effective and compatible care with Vitamin A. Retinal is like a shortcut to your skin because it only requires one conversion step to retinoic acid in the skin. It stimulates the skin's own collagen synthesis and simultaneously inhibits the enzyme responsible for collagen breakdown. This gradually builds up the collagen structure, filling and smoothing lines and wrinkles. Retinal also visibly refines the skin texture, even addressing acne scars or rough skin. Particularly for skin prone to imperfections, Retinal has an additional positive effect by regulating sebum production and combating clogged pores and pimples. Resveratrol, a natural antioxidant, stabilizes the delicate retinal, prevents light-induced skin aging, and further stimulates collagen synthesis. Nourishing care is provided by cold-pressed organic argan oil with valuable lipids, which also acts antibacterially and anti-inflammatory.

If you have little or no experience with active Vitamin A ingredients, we recommend starting with just one retinal product. Gradually introduce the new active ingredient to allow your skin to adapt. Give it at least 6 weeks since our skin has a renewal cycle of 28 days. If your skin tolerates retinal well during this time, you can combine the retinal cream and the retinal sensitive serum for maximum results. We advise against combining with other retinol or retinal products to ensure you do not exceed the optimal concentration for your skin.

Retinal is not a typo; it's actually a more potent active ingredient compared to retinol. Retinol needs to be converted into retinal in the skin before it becomes pure Vitamin A. Retinal requires only a single conversion step, making it stronger and faster-acting than retinol. It is also considered more tolerable because less retinal is needed compared to retinol for the same effect, reducing the risk of accumulation in the skin that can lead to irritation.

INTEGRATED INTO YOUR ROUTINE
Moisturize your skin and strengthen your skin barrier with lipids. The fat content depends on your skin type: oily skin needs little to no additional lipids, dry skin needs more to compensate for the low sebum production. For more richness, add 2-3 drops of oil - either in addition or mixed with your cream.

HOW TO USE THE RETINAL CREAM
Apply 2-3 pumps of the retinal cream, depending on your acclimation phase, in the evening after your serum to your face, neck, and décolleté, and gently massage it in.

If you tolerate retinal well in all phases, you can also combine the retinal cream with the retinal sensitive serum for maximum results. We advise against combining it with other retinol or retinal products, as you should always consider the total concentration you are applying to your skin.

NOTES

May increase light sensitivity. Please use adequate daily sun protection with at least SPF 30. 

We advise against use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Do not apply intensive active ingredients directly after one another to avoid overwhelming your skin. It is better to apply the products separately and alternately in the evening. This specifically concerns combinations with AHA / BHA Peeling, Enzyme Peeling, and Vitamin C Ampoules.
