Our commitment
OUR FOUR FOCUS AREAS
Sustainability is a process and we are still a long way from reaching our goal - we work every day to keep getting better. In our efforts, we focus on four areas that are important to us in order to achieve our ambitious sustainability goals. In doing so, we are guided by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
WE PRODUCE SUSTAINABLY.
We are aware that we contribute to consumption. That is why we want the carbon footprint of our products to be as small as possible. Almost 90% of our emissions are in our supply chain, more specifically in our raw materials, logistics and our packaging. Reason enough for us to take a closer look at these issues. We are currently revising our primary packaging to make it even more ecologically sensible and user-friendly.

WE PROTECT OUR ENVIRONMENT.
Today we are facing major ecological and social challenges because the climate is constantly warming. It is a matter of course for us that we use our resources responsibly and we want to take an even closer look at our raw material suppliers and the entire supply chain in the future in order to be able to have more influence on cultivation and mining methods as well as working conditions. You can find out the background to the raw materials we currently use here and read how we select them on these pages .
Environmental and climate protection are also very important to our team, which is why action days such as World Clean-up Day or the climate strike are very important to us. For us, now more than ever, it is important to show our stance and take action.
WE SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS:
● Eden Reforestation Projects
● Plastic Bank
● Doctors Against Animal Testing

WE ARE COMMITTED TO EDUCATION.
For us, education and awareness-raising work are the key to a self-determined life with more opportunities and thus the basis for sustainable development. We provide transparent and honest information about our products, their ingredients and how they work, so that everyone can decide for themselves which products they think are good. We also specifically address climate issues in order to encourage more conscious consumption and action.
In addition, the education of young people is very important to us. Around 257 million of them worldwide have no access to education. We have therefore made it our mission to make school education possible, especially in those places where the opportunities for it are least available.
As an employer, we also want to support our employees on their professional path and give them the opportunity to further their education in their fields and share the newly acquired knowledge with the rest of the team.
Our current educational project: Our Primary School in Ntambo, Malawi

WE STAND FOR DIVERSITY & EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES.
We are a brand for everyone. Our products are made for every gender, every skin color and every age. No matter what religion, sexuality or ethnicity - we make no distinctions. We don't have stereotypes. On the contrary: we love diversity. And we support gender equality and equal opportunities: everyone should feel comfortable in their own skin. We want to work even harder to achieve this in the future.
This of course also applies to our team. Everyone can be themselves and doesn't have to pretend. For us, this protected framework is the key to a harmonious and unconditional working relationship in which a lot of good things can happen.
We want our employees to be able to be themselves, because we are convinced that this is the only way everyone can develop their full potential.

THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
The 17 SDGs are a political objective of the United Nations and outline an ambitious agenda to ensure sustainable development on an economic, social and ecological level worldwide.
The goals apply to all countries in the world – developing countries, emerging countries and industrialized countries. The result is to reduce poverty and hunger, improve health, enable equality, protect the planet, promote education and much more.
We support the UN SDGs to stop global warming at 1.5 degrees – as called for in the Paris Climate Agreement.
