SKIN TYPE OILY SKIN
WHAT DOES OILY SKIN MEAN?
Oily skin needs balancing care. It tends to produce more sebum and sweat. This causes a shiny face and enlarged pores. Blackheads often form, which can also develop into acne if you are predisposed to it. To highlight the positive properties of oily skin: it is very resilient and better protected from external influences than other skin types.
Skin condition:
Your skin often has a shiny film all over your face and is prone to blemishes or acne.
Skin structure & pores:
Typical for the structure of your skin are larger pores and a tendency to blackheads, pustules and pimples.
COMPLEXION:
Your complexion is usually shiny, often appears uneven and has red spots due to blemishes.
SPECIAL FEATURE:
The most important thing for your skin is daily, thorough cleansing and light, balancing care.
1. Tip: Cleanse your skin gently.
Regular but gentle cleansing is essential for you. Bacteria feel particularly comfortable in the excess sebum and are a trigger for impurities. So it's best to clean your oily skin gently, for example with our cleansing gel .
2nd tip: Your magic formula: oil against oil.
According to the basic homeopathic principle “like cures like”, you simply add a few drops of argan oil or squalane to an aloe vera gel, for example. This reduces the cause of oily skin, excess sebum.
3. Tip: Exfoliate your skin with salicylic acid.
Salicylic acid penetrates deeply. It helps to remove and renew the outer layer of skin cells and opens the pores before impurities appear. Since oily skin is very resistant, you can use a BHA peeling up to three times a week.
4. Tip: Retinol for oily skin.
The vitamin retinol noticeably regulates sebum production and counteracts clogged pores, inflammation and pimples. The retinol we use is particularly gentle on your skin - with a comprehensive effect.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT OILY SKIN
HOW DO YOU CARE FOR YOUR OILY SKIN?
Oily skin is observed in around 20-30% of adolescents from puberty onwards, as the sebaceous glands only develop their full function through hormones. However, this often regulates itself again over the course of life. It is important for you to recognise whether your skin is dehydrated and oily or sufficiently moisturised. If it often feels dry and tight, but still produces a lot of sebum every day, creating a shiny film, then this is a sign of dehydrated skin .What oily skin needs is balancing care. This will help you adjust the skin to a balanced condition and regulate sebum production. For a slightly richer feeling, our skin-friendly retinol cream is perfect for you. It refines your skin's appearance and supports regeneration. However, other active ingredients such as niacinamide in our serum are also an ideal support for your resistant skin.
