sustainability
WHAT DOES SUSTAINABILITY MEAN TO US?
We would like to share with you what sustainability means to us, how we live it and implement it. Because for us, sustainability is the basis for everything - it shapes our decisions regarding our raw materials, our packaging, our social commitment and our everyday office life.
DOING BUSINESS IN HARMONY WITH OUR ENVIRONMENT.
More precisely: with people, animals and nature. We want to keep our footprint as small as possible. By creating products that do not harm the environment and by considering their production. We select our ingredients based on ecological criteria that at the same time allow us to meet our standards of effectiveness and tolerability.
A path on which we are constantly improving and want to improve. Our entire value chain includes the origin, cultivation and extraction of our ingredients, production, packaging, shipping and disposal. Sustainability is one of our core values and is taken into account in every decision. We are not perfect. But we aim to constantly develop in all dimensions of sustainability - ecological, social and economic.
We love animals and will therefore never test products on them.
As pure as possible, so nice for allergy sufferers.
The tiny particles cannot be small enough – in fact, they cannot even be there.
They don't bring anything, they don't achieve anything, we don't need them.
We completely avoid artificial preservatives.
Industrial plastics leave us nothing, not even care.
WHAT MAKES US SUSTAINABLE?
We carefully select the right ingredients for our products. We pay attention to the origin of the raw materials, choose organic quality where possible and avoid unnecessary additives. For more transparency, you will find an alphabetically ordered overview of all our raw materials and our decision criteria that we take into account when making our selection.
We attach great importance to making our packaging as sustainable as possible. Regional sourcing and recycled materials are very important to us. We are currently evaluating new packaging options to better meet our sustainability standards. You can find out more about our current packaging on this page .
We source the ingredients for our products globally, and the production, bottling, storage and shipping of our products take place in Germany. More precisely, at a location that is centrally located so that the distances to everywhere are as short as possible.
Our products are 100% vegan. No animal testing is carried out on either the ingredients or the finished products. This is confirmed by the “PETA Approved Vegan Global Animal Test Policy” seal. You can find out exactly what this means in ourblog post .
It is our heartfelt desire to pass on a part of our economic success and thereby support nature, people and animals. 1% of our annual turnover goes to social and ecological causes. You can find out which social projects we are currently involved in and why we are doing this at all here .
So far, we have calculated our CO2e emissions in collaboration with ClimatePartner according to the guidelines of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. By offsetting these emissions with climate protection projects, we were able to call ourselves "climate neutral". But we want to be even more precise and transparent. That's why we'll tell you here what is measured, where our emissions are, how we reduce them and why we no longer want to simply be "climate neutral".
"For us, sustainable business means that sustainability is always at the forefront of our decisions. Making these decisions is not always easy and we often have to make compromises. We want to be honest with you and give you insights into what we have already achieved and where we still want to improve."

PETA, the world's largest animal rights organization, campaigns for the rights of animals and against their exploitation and cruelty. Our products carry the "PETA Approved Vegan Global Animal Test Policy" logo, which proves that they are completely vegan and that no animal testing has been carried out on either the products or their ingredients.
So far, we have calculated the CO2e emissions of our company and products in collaboration with ClimatePartner according to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and offset them through internationally recognized climate protection projects. You can find out how high the emissions were in 2022 and how we are reducing them, as well as why compensation alone is not the only way for us and how we will continue here .
Dermatest tests all of our products for compatibility. An epicutaneous test is used for this, which works in a similar way to an allergy test. The aim is to test the skin directly for toxic-irritant intolerance reactions. To be on the safe side, we only have all products tested on sensitive skin. We are proud of the results. Our products have all received a "very good" rating so far. Every other product that finds its place in our range is automatically tested by Dermatest before it goes on sale. You can always find the detailed test certificates on the respective product page.
